We've put together the most frequently asked questions to help you prepare for summer camp!
What age groups do you accept?
We welcome Girl Scouts from rising Brownies (2nd grade) up to Cadettes entering 6th grade.
What are the daily activities?
Our days are packed with hands-on science activities, outdoor camp adventure, songs, games, and Girl Scout traditions.
Is there a discount?
YES! If you are able to volunteer for the entire week, we off a 90% discount for your Scout(s). Since this camp is a Troop Fundraiser, we do not offer sibling discounts.
What is the meal plan?
Families are responsible to provide their Scout with a NUT-FREE Lunch and 2 snacks each day, with the exception of the Thursday overnight and Friday.
Are there safety measures?
Yes! Our camp is required to have a written Emergency Action Plan. Every member of staff and Program Aide must complete our safety meeting prior to camp.
Can I visit the camp?
We find that campers are able to enjoy camp best without the distraction of parents being present. Additionally, we cannot have any non-registered/unbackground checked adults at camp beyond drop off and pick up.
Can I volunteer at camp?
Is this a NUT-FREE camp?
YES! PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE only send your child with NUT-FREE snacks and lunch items. Keep all of our campers safe!
Do I need a park pass for Riverdale Park?
You DO NOT need a park pass for Riverdale Park.
